The damper spring module is very similar to the strut, except that it is supplied as a complete module, including coil spring, upper mount assembly, bump stopper, and dust cover.
In this module, the springs allow the wheels to rise to withstand road bumps and avoid jolting, while the dampers keep the vehicle from bouncing up and down.
The drive dynamics are controlled by strut damping force and spring rate(K value) of coil spring.
1. Spring characteristic curve can be either linear, nonlinear, or progressive.
2. Damper spring modules are either Macpherson type or Single-Axis spring seat type for double-wishbone applications.
